Vitamin A is one of the biggest components in wrinkle cream. Naturally, all products claim to smooth away wrinkles. Many of these products are deceptive and want you to believe they work when they don’t. Which includes putting microscopic pieces of glitter in the wrinkle removing cream. Glitter is used because it reflects light out of the wrinkles. This gives the illusion that your wrinkles have completely disappeared. So if you use these creams containing glitter, you will watch your money go down the drain when you wash your face.
If you are really into anti-aging creams, you should know all about vitamin A. Retinol and vitamin A are the same thing. It is very good at getting rid of wrinkles. The entire process could take a little time. You should be worried. You will see a change soon enough.
Your skin will really stay elastic with the use of retinol. Furthermore, it helps your skin retain moisture. Sometimes it is used to plump up wrinkles so that they become tight and smooth.
But you should be aware of the complications that can be associated with the use of retinol. The biggest problem being sensitivity to the sun. Taking vitamin A or using it topically can make you very sensitive to the sun. You could burn just from walking around the block on a sunny day. You should always wear sunblock on your face if you don’t want wrinkles.
Additionally, retinol can create issues for those with problem skin. Some of the more common effects of vitamin A (besides being a wrinkle fighter) can be breakouts and/or dry skin. But, this usually only happens when people overdo the vitamin A treatments. If you are worried about this then you can test your vitamin A product before using it. Place a small dab on there twice a day for a week. If you do not have any redness or inflammation then you should be just fine. Nevertheless, you must still pay close attention to your skin to make sure you are in good shape.
I have one more warning. Always follow the directions! You must not use vitamin A if you just want to rub on any old moisturizer to protect your skin. This vitamin is for people who are very serious about their beauty. Vitamin A can completely get rid of wrinkles, usually, so make sure you are using it the correct way.
